Victoria just returned from her history trip to Washington DC and Atlanta, and what I heard from her and by looking at the pictures on facebook they had a lot of fun (she will probably tell you more about this herself soon). It's half term for us now, and we really needed a bit of time apart from school and the stress...despite we love the people there! But sometimes you're just glad to be on your own again. So am I, I'm just sitting on my couch reading the best book I've ever read so far, The Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky (I am going to tell you more about it as soon as I finished it), and listening to music. Victoria (and my boyfriend) would probably say that it's the most rubbish music in the world, but I really like it and even though it's depressing most of the time, it makes me happy and I can relax. Music really is one of the things that helps you through a hard and long day, and it's the only way you can survive the IB. But I'm going off topic again, so I'll tell you about the thing I actually wanted to talk to you about, before I said a lot of irrelevant stuff.
One day last half term, Victoria got this parcel and there was this really really really cool T-shirt in it and I thought everyone should have a T-shirt like that in their wardrobes. Because I don't like buying the exact same clothes someone else I see every day has, I looked it up in the internet, and I found...THIS.
Eleven Paris is a french label and one of my favourites this month (but I promise you my love for it will last longer than a month...). They have absolutely unique stuff and I have never seen something like that before. They don't have a huge collection, but I really love the things they do have. If I had the money I would probably buy it all. But I don't so unfortunately I can't (happens to me all the time...). Some of you may think that €50 is quite expensive for a T-shirt, but let me tell you that these T-shirts aren't just simple T-shirts, they are stylish and absolutely unique and so nice to wear and you can combine them with almost everything. Also, have you seen the flip flops they sell? Have you ever seen a thing as cool as that? Well, I haven't. But I will make sure you do by telling you this little secret, and I will make sure the people at my school do by wearing their stuff almost every day.
Have fun with shopping, whilst I will go on and read my book, so I can tell you about it later.
And to finish off with some French skills:
Bisous et à bientôt!
Josie xxx
